Time Out Magazine

Branded Content Writer
& On-camera work

The challenge: Branded content lives in a tricky middle ground. It has to serve a client's goals without losing the voice and trust that makes an editorial brand worth advertising in at all. The challenge is making sponsored work feel as genuine and compelling as the rest of the publication.

The work: As a branded content writer at Time Out Magazine, I wrote and developed marketing strategies for clients including Hulu, Hilton, Green River Bourbon, and Fever Tree. I also co-wrote and appeared as on-camera talent in a three-city social video series promoting Pepsi's "Local Eats" campaign, which spotlights family-owned restaurants across the United States.

The result: Campaigns that felt native to the Time Out brand while delivering on client objectives. The Pepsi series in particular brought an editorial sensibility to branded video, centering real restaurants and real stories rather than a polished corporate sheen.
