The Wine Zine
The challenge: Natural wine has always had a community-driven spirit. The Wine Zine was built to match it, creating a resource that was inclusive, story-driven, and as fun to read as natural wine is to drink. The New York Times called it “a lifestyle magazine for natural wine lovers.”
The work: As Managing Editor, I edited and commissioned essays, produced recurring events, and managed relationships with stockists across the U.S., Brazil, Spain, Portugal, Italy, and France. The goal was always to bring in new writers and sommeliers alike, whether the subject was wine's relationship to labor, the pleasure of shower wine, or a choose-your-own-adventure drinking experience at a beloved Hudson Valley restaurant.
The result Under my tenure, The Wine Zine grew its stockist network across six countries, attracted hundreds of people to live events, and built a loyal and growing social media following, cementing its place as the go-to entry point for a new generation of natural wine lovers.
