Selected Writing
As a journalist, I strive to follow Octavia Butler’s famous maxim: “Tell stories filled with facts. Make people touch and taste and know. Make people FEEL FEEL FEEL!”
I report on cultural stories that move beyond aesthetics to ask harder questions about labor, sustainability, and power. I’ve covered everything from emerging designers at New York Fashion Week to dining guides across Atlanta and the re-emergence of Indigenous apple orchards in rural North Carolina.
I’m a curious, on-the-ground reporter and am always open to new assignments. Please note, I maintain a strict boundary between my consulting and journalistic work.
