I pioneered a first-of-its-kind partnership between Teen Vogue and the Solutions Journalism Network, securing $5,000 in competitive grant funding to support on-the-ground reporting across the U.S. South. I traveled through Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Arkansas, spending time listening to organizers, policymakers, and community members working at the front lines of the climate crisis. Those conversations became deeply reported stories that trace how policy, infrastructure, and inequality shape the ways young people are imagining and building more livable futures.
